I'm back

I have finally unpacked my crafting supplies after our move in january. I have missed it so much. It's still unorganised and all over the place but it's out of the boxes, yeah!  This is the first card I made. It was nice to do some colouring.

Advent calendar

Three years ago I made a advent calendar out of matchboxes for my niece. This year it's time to make one for her little brother, my sweet nephew.

Now it's time for the tricky but fun bit of filling the small boxes with fun gifts.

paperclip-angels

I found some supercute paperclip-angels when I was out surfing the net. The ones I saw was actually made with a sort of clips called butterfly clips, but they are not used here in sweden and I couldn´t find them anywhere. Instead I used normal paper clips and had to bend them more to make it work. They get a bit crooked but I think it gives them more of a personality and each one of them are unique. I think they are really cute and I have made a bunch of them and hung them up all over my office and also gave away some of them as small gifts of appreciation.
This is the first one I made.

Merry christmas in Kraft

Here is a clean and simple card in kraft. I used a branch-stamp to create the wreath, just stamped it many times in a circle. Some half-pearls as decoration and the little bow to finish it off. It turned out really pretty so I think I have to make more of these :-)

From the past....

I found these cuties in a drawer when I was helping my parents move houses. I used to colour them with my father when I was a child. I now copied them onto waterolourpaper and used distress ink to colour them. I think they look superute on these christmas cards. I used some stickles on the hat to add some glitter. The sentiments says merry christmas and happy new year, and christmas hugs in swedish :-)

Erlier this autum I bought the"cardmaking and papercraft" magazine where this stamp and die came as a gift. This is the first card I made eith them. The free paper is also from the magazine and I think the little birds look so sweet. I coloured the bird-stamp with distress ink.

The first ones

I have finally started with my Christmas cards. It was really about time if I want to make enought to both sell and to send myself.

This is two cards where I used embossing on the trees and then distress ink around it. I really like this tree-stamp, it's so pretty. 

The sentiments say merry Christmas and Christmas greetings in swedish.

It's not a card

My parents are the best. They are always there for me, giving advice, support and love. I wanted to send them a card telling them how much I love them.

The sentiment says " This is not a card. It's a hug with a fold in the middle."

New home

I was invited to a friend today who recently moved into a new home with her family. I quickly put this card together for her. The sentiment says " congratulations to the new home". One of the family-members is a black cat :-)

Families we choose

I have a very small family due to both my parents being an only child. So if you don´t have any cousins you go and get yourself some :-) Annika is the daughter of my mothers best friend and we have always called eachother pretend-cousins. Tomorrow she´s turning 40 years old and a wanted to make her a beutiful card. I made a tri-shutter card. It´s the second time a do this folding and I think it turned out alright. Using patterned paper is a challenge for me and I have decided to force myself to use it and to learn more how to in a clean and simple style. Taking photos of this card was also a challenge, so sorry for the poor photos.
I hope she likes her card.
