My oldest friend got married in september and this is the card I made her. I like the effect of a boxcard. I made the pattern on the panels using a stencil and perfect perarls. It turned out really nice.

Twist and pop card

A friend turned 40 last week and this weekend she had a great party to celebrate. We were some friends who had gathered for a present and I made this card to go with it. A really fun card to make.

Card and a box

I have made a card that is also a box. It's perfect for a small gift. This one is for a colleague of mine who is going into retierment. We in the team want to surprise her and give her a fun night out. I have written the plans and a nice message on a card in the box.

This cute stamp is from Phunnyface. The sentiment says " You are worth something special" 

I stamped the sentiment with white ink and then put red perfect pearls on it.

Inside the Box is the card with the sentiment "especially for you" also stamped in white and red perfect pearls.

Families we choose

I have a very small family due to both my parents being an only child. So if you don´t have any cousins you go and get yourself some :-) Annika is the daughter of my mothers best friend and we have always called eachother pretend-cousins. Tomorrow she´s turning 40 years old and a wanted to make her a beutiful card. I made a tri-shutter card. It´s the second time a do this folding and I think it turned out alright. Using patterned paper is a challenge for me and I have decided to force myself to use it and to learn more how to in a clean and simple style. Taking photos of this card was also a challenge, so sorry for the poor photos.
I hope she likes her card.

Suger-anniversary

Wedding anniversaries are called different things depending on how long you have been married. When you celebrate beeing married for 6 years it´s suger-anniversary :-) My collegue wanted me to make a card for her husband for this occasion.
I made a shakercard and the sentiment says " You are my piece of candy in life ".
The sentiment is from K-designs.

I stamped wraped candy in different colours around the sentiment saying suger-wedding (anniversary).

Wedding cards

Last saturday was a very popular day for weddings here in Sweden. I know four couples who got married that day. I made wedding cards for two of those couples.
The first one was for a collegue at work and we bought a present from all of us at work and I made the card. The theme of the wedding was green and gold so I decided to stick to those colours in my card. I used a new fold which was abit tricky but I liked the result. I think it was very pretty.

The second card was for a weeding where I know both the bride and the groom. We are leaders together at a youth camp in the summers. All of the leaders from the camp wanted to congratulate them so I was asked to make a card. I thought it would be nice with a box-card with photos of them from the camp inside. I also used some lyrics from a song that we sing at the camp to make it even more personal. I think it turned out really pretty and I hope they like it.

Gatefold birthdaycard

My dear boyfriend has turned 35 years old. I found this type of fold on Pinterest and got inspired to do this card for him. It was really fun to make and I believe it can be varied in many ways. I chose not to decorate it too much as it's a card for a man, and also to keep it to few colours. I used restickeble glue to help close the card.

 

Shaker card

I have now completed my first shaker card! It's a card for my niece who's turning 5 years old next week. I didn't have any confetti so I filled my card with glitter and some die cut hearts. It's tricky to take a good photo of a shaker card with glitter but I hope you get an idea of what it looks like in real life. The stamp is from tiddly inks.

 

 

Tri-shutter card

I tried a new fold with this card and made a tri-shutter card. I have seen this kind of cards all over internet but I thought they looked a bit too complicated. But now I really wanted to make a special card to a special woman. A dear colleague has decided it's time for retirement and she works her last day on friday. She loves pink and with valentine's coming up the card got that vibe to it :-)

The fold wasn't as complicated as I thought and I'm sure I'll use it again. 

#114 mamma fyller 65 år

Min fina mamma fyller 65 år idag! Då ville jag göra ett speciellt kort och då fick det bli en underbar vikning som jag lärt mig genom BellaMios beskrivning. Det ger många sidor att dekorera. Ville ha kortet stilrent och höll mig till färgerna blått, vitt och kraft. Lite halvpärlor och spets fick vara dekorationerna.

#86 fars dag

Ville prova att göra något nytt till årets fars dag-kort och hittade flera exempel på skjort-kort på nätet. Jag följde den här beskrivningen när jag gjorde mitt, förutom att jag gjorde mitt stående och så att kortbasen inte syns. Det tycker jag ser snyggare ut. Detta var ett riktigt kul kort att göra och inte så svårt som det ser ut :-)

#1 årets första kort

Nu är årets första kort gjort! Och nu är det alltså bara 99 kort kvar innan jag får shoppa pysselgrejer igen eftersom att jag hakat på grejen "100 alster innan shopping 2014".
Det här kortet är ett beställningskort till en kvinna som fyller 65. Hon är kulturell och tycker mycket om musik, böcker och opera. Hon är inte mycket för blingbling utan är mer klassisk.
Det blev ett bok-kort med operatema. Jag hittade en perfekt bild på internet på en framsida av en Wagners operor. Eftersom det är en av mottagarens favoriter blev det en perfekt framsida till kortet. Jag har hållit kortet enkelt gällande dekorartioner och har låtit papperna tala för sig.
Insidan pryds av ett foto av födelsedagsbarnet och hennes två döttrar, som är de som beställ kortet. I hålet som blir på höger sida ska de lägga ner sin present.

Idag firar mina älskade föräldrar 40-årig bröllopsdag! Jag tror nog att de är lika kära idag som då :-)
Det här är mitt kort till dem denna dag. Jag tycker så mycket om motivet från Mo manning och även texten tycker jag är fin och passar här.

Med detta kortet deltog jag i "En liten butik" s tävling för maj som gick ut på att skapa ett romantiskt kort.

Bok-kort till brudpar

Förra helgen var jag på ett fantastiskt bröllop i Frankrike <3 Jag gjorde ett bok-kort som bröllopskort till det fina brudparet. Det blev lite stressigt på slutet och jag insåg efter att jag kom hem att jag glömt fotografera kortet från sidan så att man ser boksidorna... Ja,ja ni får tänka er det.



Jag har klätt bok-kortet i silvrig tapet. det rosa är också tapet som liknar skinn. Fotot på paret har jag med hjälp av lacklim fört över på en bit tapet med linnestruktur. Texten är skriven med dymo.





På insidan har jag skrivet texten på den sång som jag sjöng under vigseln, "Kärleksvisan" av sarah Dawn Finer. Har dekorerat med blommor och halvpärlor. På insidan av förtsasidan fick den personliga hälsningen plats.





På baksidan har jag satt min personliga stämpel med ett brudpar i mitten.



Stjärn-kort

Tänkte visa det första stjärnkortet jag gjorde. En rolig vikning som jag gör allt för sällan nu för tiden tycker jag. Det passar ju till så mycket. Denna gång blev det ett kort fullt med kärlek.

Inuti finns en liten kärleksförklaring till min älskling :-)
