Green

I was meeting some friends last saturday for crafting and it was really fun. I don't have many stencils in my stash so I decided to borrow from one girl who has like thousands :-) It is fun to get together and be creative and to have the chance to try products that you don't usually use. I had two challenges in mind when I was making this card, cas-ual fridays - pretty pattern and sweet stamps blog - masculine card. ( unfortunally I didn't put this on the blog in time so I missed the deadline for the masculine card challenge)

I coloured the area with green distress ink, after masking with post-its. I then put the stencil on and wiped over it with a baby-wipe. That took away some of the colour and created a pretty pattern.

Strawberries

Here is a card inspired by summer :-) Bright colours and sweet strawberries.

Pretty Pink

I was inspired by the challenge at  abc-challenge  to create a card in pink. I have used one if my favorite embossingfolders to create the background. Before I used distress ink to colour it I rubbed a white cryeon on the rised patterned. This was the first time I tried this and the purpose was to create a resist for the distress ink. It didn't work as I hoped it would but I think it turned out pretty anyway. I used stickles in the flowers to get som sparkle and I finished it off with a pink ribbon.

Heartfelt thanks

I bought a stamp second hand from a girl on facebook and I wanted to try it out right away. I needed a thank you card and I thought the angel dropping hearts would look sweet on one. I did the background using distress ink and masking with a piece of paper shaped as a cloud. The angel is also coloured with distress ink and for the wings and the halo I used stickles.

Sid

My friend got a son last week who will be called Sid. I will meet both him and his mother tomorrow and needed to make a card for the occasion. I love making one layer card so I was glad to find that the challenge at Less is more this week was just that and with the keyword eye :-)

So this is my card for Sid:

Recycling

It's been very quite in the blog for a couple of weeks. It's because I'm away on holiday and don't have the time for any paper craft. But last week when I was away working at a summercamp for children, another leader there showed me how to braid baskets and bags using old milk, yoghurth and juice containers. It was so much fun but abit tricky. I will have to practise alot more but I am very pleased with the little basket I managed to do.
