Gatefold birthdaycard

My dear boyfriend has turned 35 years old. I found this type of fold on Pinterest and got inspired to do this card for him. It was really fun to make and I believe it can be varied in many ways. I chose not to decorate it too much as it's a card for a man, and also to keep it to few colours. I used restickeble glue to help close the card.

 

You make me happy

This is a stamp that I haven´t used for a long time. It was one of the first stamps I bought but then never really liked. But now when I have found this new colouring-technique with baby-oil I thought this stamp could be good to practise on. And I really like how it turned out :-) I found this stamp really cute and useful now :-) The sentiment says "You make me happy" in Swedish.

My little nephew is also having his birthday this month. I made a card with a caterpilar for him.

 

Shaker card

I have now completed my first shaker card! It's a card for my niece who's turning 5 years old next week. I didn't have any confetti so I filled my card with glitter and some die cut hearts. It's tricky to take a good photo of a shaker card with glitter but I hope you get an idea of what it looks like in real life. The stamp is from tiddly inks.

I bought these wood rooster decos years ago but as I never make Easter cards I never got to use them. So now when I decided to do some cards for Easter I had to find them :-) I Think they look quit pretty on these simple cards.
