Families we choose

I have a very small family due to both my parents being an only child. So if you don´t have any cousins you go and get yourself some :-) Annika is the daughter of my mothers best friend and we have always called eachother pretend-cousins. Tomorrow she´s turning 40 years old and a wanted to make her a beutiful card. I made a tri-shutter card. It´s the second time a do this folding and I think it turned out alright. Using patterned paper is a challenge for me and I have decided to force myself to use it and to learn more how to in a clean and simple style. Taking photos of this card was also a challenge, so sorry for the poor photos.
